The switch mode design ensures constant, low-noise DC power which automatically adjusts to conditions within the DC lamp in the circuit. The unit also includes a panel-mounted circuit breaker and accidental unplug protection to guard against laboratory mishaps.
A panel-mounted elapsed time meter tracks the DC arc lamp's usage hours for ease of maintenance and replacement. The system is designed for plug-and-play integration with 100W HBO illumination commonly found in fluorescence microscopy work.
