The Meiji MA961 40 LED illumination system fits most stereo microscopes and allows true color reproduction of the specimen at all brightness levels without the yellow hue of halogen. As an upgrade from the MA964, the MA961 also features on/off control of the four circular quadrants. Durable LED technology delivers 10,000 hours of bright daylight quality, flicker-free LED illumination, which is very comfortable for the eyes. No additional white balance is necessary.

Daylight quality, true color reproduction – 6000K color temperature allows the user to see structures in their true colors without the yellow hue of halogen illumination. Flexible controls offer quadrant selection allowing off-axis illumination by quarter segment for more detailed imaging of fine surface features.
