    The OM2300S-V7 is built on a V7 articulating boom base that weighs 57lbs, which is almost as much as a grizzly bear cub. Because of its weight, this stereo microscope is incredibly stable, and yet, it can fold into a 13 x 13" space when it’s not in use.

     

    This stereo microscope is especially popular with engravers and jewelers because of its stability, but also because of the flexibility its positionable microscope head offers. Part of this arm is removable to offer even more stability, should you need it.

    What’s So Special About the Stand?

    Anyone well-seasoned in the world of stereo microscopy knows that a stand can make or break a microscope. From years of studying and building stereo microscope stands for inspectors and gemologists and engravers (among many others), we built a stand that handles the daily rigors of your job and gives you greater confidence in it too.

     

    It’s built with special features like:

     

    • A pole that stands 21" high.

      •  

    • A spring-powered articulating arm that has an effective horizontal extension of 35".

      •  

    • A 76mm an included focus block.

      •  

    • A hanging bar that enables angled viewing positions (and is included with the microscope).

      •  

    • Compatibility with a U-clamp for attachment to a benchtop. The clamp fits benches up to 2.5" thick.

      •  

    • A spring-loaded hanging bar bracket allowing the lever can be moved out of the way without having to release the pre-set position of the microscope head.

    This microscope isn’t the de facto choice of industrial inspectors without good reason. Built with a solid frame and value-priced, the OM2300S-V7 stereo microscope also packs quality optics that make your images clear and crisp:

     

    • 7X-45X parfocal zoom range (6.4:1) 

      •  

    • Dual diopters integrated into the oculars

      •  

    • An interpupillary adjustment range is 55mm-75mm

      •  

    • The standard working distance is 4.5" which increases to 6.5" with the addition of a 0.5x auxiliary Barlow lens

    Do you spend hours hunched over the eyepiece of your microscope? Adding a digital microscope camera to your OM2300S-V7 microscope reduces that neck pain and eye strain by showing you your images on a computer screen instead. That means you actually feel good about sitting back at work.

     

    When the beam-splitter lever is engaged in an OM2300S-V7 trinocular microscope, 80% of the light from the left optical path is directed to the camera port. The trinocular option also includes a 23.2mm photo tube. The image can still be viewed through both eyepieces while the camera is in use, making this stereo microscope more flexible than ever.
