Optics
The Greenough optical system is fully parfocal and offers a crisp, three-dimensional upright image through a binocular or trinocular head inclined 35 degrees and rotatable 360 degrees. Ergonomic 10X FN 23 widefield high eyepoint eyepieces are set in a Seidentopf movement with 54mm-76mm of interpupillary adjustment and +/- 5 degrees of dioptric adjustment.
Dual zoom control knobs operate a 6.7:1 zoom ratio for 7.5X to 50X total magnification and 5 click-stop detents allow for precise, repetitive observations. An industry-leading working distance of 113mm (4.5") offers plenty of space to work on specimens under observation.
Focus
Dual rack and pinion focus controls are conveniently positioned and feature tension adjustment for responsive and controlled movement.
Stand
The 2112 is an economical plain stand (no illumination) featuring a 32mm vertical post and a wide platform base offering a large, 330mm x 280mm working surface with chemical-resistant finish. Black/white and stage plate and 2 spring clips are included.
Accessories
