The Meiji EMZ8TR-V10 is a combination of Meiji's best-selling EMZ-8TR zoom stereo trinocular microscope head and the Omano V10 boom stand. TThe EMZ-8TR is Meiji's most popular trinocular zoom stereo microscope head. It is to trinocular what the EMZ-5 is to binocular. A good quality workhorse for industry ad education that can be relied on to last a lifetime with zero defects.The parfocal zoom range is 7x-45x (10x eyepieces) with dual-sided zoom controls. The field of view is 32mm-5.1mm with 10x eyepieces and the standard working distance is marginally longer then the EMZ5 at 104mm. The head is inclined 45° and includes interpupillary adjustment of 54mm-75mm. There are dual +/-5 diopters for convenient individual eye focusing. The head rotates through 360° for flexible viewing positions.
Available in trinocular format and also with click stop detents for precise levels of magnification. The trinocular port directs light to the right eyetube and the trinocular tube simultaneously. Please note that a trinocular adapter is required to fit your camera.
Stand
The V10 is one of our workhorse single-arm boom stands and features a useful 4", adjustable extension bar at the tip of the boom arm. When using this extension with eyes down, the user can easily adjust the horizontal extension of the boom. In other words, there is no need to release the entire bar in order to make small adjustments. The V10 boom stand is also heavy-duty, weighing 48lbs. The pole is 20" tall with 14.5" of usable height. The horizontal arm extends 26" including the microscope head.
As with most Omano boom stands, a hanging bar is included that enables angled viewing positions. The hanging bar bracket is spring-loaded so that the lever can be moved out of the way without having to release the pre-set position of the microscope head.
